Instead of their usual divorce support meetings, each quarter the Metro DC Divorce Support Group (on Meetup) has an informational workshop related to separation and divorce. For the fall season, the workshop is "Attorneys Fees Exposed - The Truth Behind Hourly Billing."

After an abbreviated 30 minutes session of peer-support and professional advice, the group leader Jenna Moheyer - an attorney in transformational law (tm) and family law - will present her FREE inaugural presentation of "Attorneys Fees Exposed"™,  the ground-breaking workshop to unveil The Truth Behind Hourly Billing.

• Look at the numbers to calculate what your divorce litigation really costs,  from start to finish.
• Learn about alternatives to the billable hour that can save you money.
• Leave empowered and able to answer the burning question:  "Can I afford my divorce?"

This is the ONLY time that this presentation will be FREE ,  so be sure to RSVP early,  and keep it up-to-date so that other members don't miss the opportunity to attend.

The group meets in the second floor library (aka community room) at Trinity Lutheran Church - located on the corner of 4th & E Streets NW in downtown Washington, DC.

I highly recommend this group and its moderator Jenna Moheyer, a family law attorney, since they helped me through my own divorce and life transitions. She has also advocated for father's rights as well as mother's right in divorce cases.

Additionally this has evolved into a non-profit group "National Divorce Support Alliance" on Ning.com (link to Facebook page). Eventually this group will move from Meetup.com to Ning.com.
