It was less than a hundred years ago that women world-wide were just beginning to persuade men, (and perhaps even themselves), that they were more than merely a domestic commodity, a piece of property, and a birthing machine. But rather that they should have rights over their own bodies, that they should be able to vote, hold office, and own property.

Tonight I just finished the first class of Crystal Andrus' 12-week Body-Mind-Soul Total Transformation Course. This is the third time I am taking this course and the second year of being part of a great community, The SWAT Institute. I am taking this course again, because it is very rewarding and encouraging. It has helped me through at least three major life transitions, and I highly recommend it.

I had planned to write the evening of the fall equinox, I found myself stuck and processing a wide range of emotions. With the help of meditation, personal reflection, and insight from my mentor and coach Crystal Andrus, I have been able to finish this post. I was alternating between stuck in thought and overwhelmed with emotions. Until the evening of September 28, I just noted "draft." (Regrettably this website does not have the "update publish date" like WordPress or Xanga, but I am looking into having it added.)
